THE STRUCTURE OF HUMAN HAIR
Human hair is made up of protein called Keratin
and each hair shaft has three distinct layers:

• Outer layer: The outer layer or cuticle is the
  hair’s protective shield. it has tiny overlapping scales
• Beneath the cuticle lies the cortex which consists
  of fiber-like cells that give the hair its strength and
  elasticity. The cortex also contains the pigment
  melanin which gives human hair its natural color.
• Located within the center we have the medulla,
  soft keratin cells interspersed with space.

MAINTENANCE

• Shampoo at least once a week.
• Brush hair gently.
• Apply diluted conditioner and comb through using a blunt wide-toothed comb.
• Apply shampoo no higher PH7.
• Wash your hair in a downward motion, working shampoo from the top down in one motion.
• Do not massage hair.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Apply conditioner and start to comb from the ends up towards the roots.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Leave to dry naturally.

DAILY MAINTENANCE

• Brush or comb through to style.
• Finish by using a ceramic straightening tongs or blow dry straight with a hand dryer and round bristle brush.
  (do not use high heat)

SLEEP

• Before going to bed, braid your hair into one loose large braid at the back of the neck.
• After waking up, undo the braid and comb through from ends to roots.
• Finish by using a ceramic straightening tongs or blow dry straight with a hand dryer and round bristle brush.
  (do not use high heat)

BODY WAVE | FRENCH BODY WAVE
DAILY MAINTENANCE

• Use a manual plant spray bottle, spray damp all hair.
• Comb through from the ends up towards the roots.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• For extra volume and speed in drying, use a diffuser on a hand dryer.
• For a deep wave effect, set the hair in size 40mm rollers, dry under hood dryer. (do not use high heat)
• When completely dry, removes all rollers and brush into deep waves.

EURO CURL | DEEP CURL
Do not use oil products on Euro Curl and Deep Curl.
Oil products will keep the hair in a wet condition and cause matting.
When compressed during sleep, do not brush or comb the hair in its dry formation.
The curls will become wavy and this may cause some tangle at the ends.

• Using a manual plant spray bottle, spray damp all hair.
• Comb through from the ends up towards the roots.
• Push hair upwards to reform the curl.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• For extra volume and speed in drying, use a diffuser on a hand dryer. (do not use high heat)
